Plugin Help Essentials usermap not initialized

    I need help im very confused... I made a bukkit server which runs fine but the first plugin I got was essentials. After I downloaded Essentials and loaded the server without changing any configs to anything Chat wont work and I get a error, Essentials User map not initialized.

    I don't want to mess with anything on the server that would make this server my own until I know the plugins will load and run. Everything is all default but I seem to have this problem.
