Plugin Help Essentials Help

Hello, I have just made a bukkit server. I downloaded essentials.zip, it had essentials spawn, essentials, chat, anti build, and essentials protect. I started my server, logged in, and it says essentials protect is in emergency mode, then I did /pl. Essentials, Essentials Chat, and Essentials Spawn are highlighted in red. Can someone tell me what is wrong(I downloaded Essentials from curse). One more thing, is it possible for me to disable the aliases commands, whenever I try to do a command it doesnt do anything, so then I have to look up aliases for /ban for example. So what is wrong with essentials, and how do i disable aliases overriding commands?

@KingRaptor345 1.8 most likely, if so then you can't use the official Essentials. There is no official one for 1.8

 

Provided that you're on 1.8, get your Essentials plugins here: https://hub.spigotmc.org/jenkins/job/Spigot-Essentials/

That should fix your plugins being red, EssentialsProtect being in emergency mode, and command errors.

 

ok, ill have to do without essentials(im using bukkit) but how do i fix aliases?

 

The version of Essentials I linked works perfect on Craftbukkit 1.8+. Any Craftbukkit versions 1.8+ are made by the Spigot team anyways.

 

just a question :/ what u using essentials protect for? which worldguard couldnt or otherwise the servers spawn protection

 

im not, i was just downloading essentials and it came in a package and i noticed it was in emergency mode so i was wondering why just for future plugins that might do that.

 

i never used it so dont see any use in having it or relevance, can just delete it maybe because its not static, meaning only parts of it work or so idk i only use chat main and spawn thats it x)
