    A friend of mine made a plugin such as that, and it features an API which I can use for EpicQuest.

    So I'll probably use that plugin as some sort of an "extra" quest type if you want to install it.
    I'm not sure how lightweight it is, or how it works, but he's good with Java, so I trust it'll work fine.

    How about option for using Bookshelfs too? You could hide your "finish quest" with a wall of Bookshelfs. :D

    Status report, just to show I'm still working on it:
    Group quests are almost fully functioning. There are no collect quests for it at this time, because I don't see the need for it. If you guys really want it, I'll put it in anyways.

    The reason why this update took so long, is because I was so dumb not to build the plugin on having more sort of quests, not quests types, but rather "solo", "group" ("factions"?).
    So basically, there's alot of changing going on so I can more easily implement more of such quest types.

    Take your time, the plugin is shaping up nicely. :)

    Forgive me if this is already planned, but could we have Multiworld quest support? Example:

    Quest A's objectives can only be done in maps Survival and Survival_nether, and it can only be given to players who ask for it from those worlds.

    Quest B can be done everywhere except CreativeMap and CreativeMap_nether, to prevent creative worlds from ruining the quests.

    Quest C's objectives must be done on the single map SpecialDungeon2, but the quest can only be given in maps TownMap and TownMap_nether.

    In other words, per world conditions for both giving a quest and for completing a quest objective. Probably with a line in the current quest feedback for the player telling them the quest objective must be done in Worlds A,B and C only.

    I've got an RP map with combat off for RP town play, which connects via portals to "dungeon maps" of various design. It would be really cool if I could make quests be given by the guild in the RP town map, but then have to be done in the dungeon maps.

    For ease of use, quest objectives that don't specify a world could be global, so that if the admin doesn't want to use the multiworld conditions they don't have to worry about it.

    While reading this, I thought of an easy way to do this.
    There'll be a new line in every quest where you can type your worlds you want the quest to be progress-able (is that a word?).
    Like so:
    Code:
    worlds: Normal, Nether, Roleplay, Deathmatch
    And for every world
    Code:
    worlds: *
    I have a question for you all out there, don't know exactly what which one I should do.

    For group quests, do you want the group quests to be deleted from the quest list or do you want them to stay even if the group is disbanded, and make it able to progress again when you get a group with the specified amount again?

    EDIT: To clarify.
    First option: make group quests for when your in a group, then remove quest if you leave the group.
    Second option: give yourself a group quest, then look for a party and retain it until it's turned in or dropped.

    If you have any other ideas, please feel free to share, but these are the 2 ideas I thought of.

    Also, I implemented a new system in which I can easily add more quest sorts, so Factions will come if I can make that compatible in some way.

    Actually i'm waiting for solo quests so i want the group quests to be deleted or delayed.

    You don't have to use it.
    You can just leave it blank if you don't want them.

    I would prefer the second option, give the users the option to drop it themselves, not automatically if they loose their group, as i imagine that would lead to many users crying about how they no longer have the quest and dont understand why.

    Also with talk of factions support, possible to have Towny support as well?

    I'll look into both Factions and Towny.

    Progress update:
    Major changes going on in the plugin right now to make it easier for me to program in, and make it easier to get out more content faster and less buggy.
    I feel like I'm rewriting the whole thing :p

    So I just finished the almost complete rewrite of quest giving, the quest book, quest info, and quest storing without testing it once while writing it.
    It worked like a charm.

    This means that it'll be quite a lot easier to implement new things in the future.

    When I've updated the kill tracker, the update should be ready to go.

    Not that it really matters, but fun fact: the file size is reduced by 1/5th during the rewrite.

    I've tried it but it doesn't work,
    I simply copied the quest,change the text and the id from the item but it doesent work

    After a long time, I'm proud to announce 0.4.
    New feature is group quests.

    The new command is now /q or /quest.
    I forgot to change it in the help command list tho.
    Please refer to the main topic to see new commands too.

    Group quest only support kill quests at the moment.
    If you want collect quests, tell me how you want it and I'll think about it.

    It was almost a full rewrite of the plugin, which is why it took so long.
    Next up is some small stuff:
    • Permissions
    • Quest that can only progress in certain worlds
    • More economy plugins support
