Is there a way to disable commands directly from the console? I'd like to only be able to manage the server when I'm logged in. I just don't want people who happen to be at my desktop to be able to give themselves items and whatnot. Being able to change the console commands or password protect them would also be fine.
I don't know of any game that has console security. RCON security? Sure. But the Console is the highest level of access games offer, if they even do.
Like EvilSeph said, having access to the actual computer is the highest level of security. Once you have this access no barriers exist (except for encryption but that's for data and not programs). That you can use passwords when logging into windows has nothing much to do with security, it's just a toy for those "ordinary people" so they think that their partner cannot spy on them
