Did MobArena ruin permissions?

Hi, I just got the MobArena plugin, and i made a few arenas, then after that the other players were complaining that they could'nt do and commands, unless they were op, could it be because of the MobArena plugin? Please help!

the mob arena plugin shouldn't do anything to your permissions file. did you make any changes to it? also what permissions plugin do you have?

 

hmm i just got the plugin and transferred it to the plugins folder, btw, i use PermissionsBukkit

 

It's a big shift (rewriting files needed) but PEX is a much more powerful alternative. bPermissions is also another great one, but I haven't personally used it.
MobArena shouldn't be able to/downright shouldn't write to the permissions file. Also a /plugins might help
