Zupsub If you look in the video, when the you click on the axe with the item name tag, it deletes both of these items and then closes the inventory. To get the player input, you add the player's UUID to a map, with the value being the material of the item he clicked on (Adding the whole player to a list is not recommended due to memory leaks apparently) then make an AsyncPlayerChatEvent, check if the player's UUID is in the map, if it is, get the message, cancel the event and then give him the item with new display name.

RingOfStorms Yes I understand, the reply was not aimed at the OP, but to Zupsub who was implying it was not possible. Therefore I was pointing out it was possible and how he could (if he wanted to) do it. I was being helpful, and trying to get the Plugin Request filled faster. I don't really why your reply was needed... just being rude imo.

traipop Sorry for the delay! The perm is customitem.name Just click on the item you want to rename and then type the name in the chat! You can only edit the item name for now, not lore. I will look into changing lore soon! <Edit by Moderator: Redacted mediafire url>
Testing it now CGA1123 the name tag does not seem to work if you have a lore on it D::::: and the items in my rpg server looks like this http://prntscr.com/3xss8d , could you fix so when you rename it does not remove the [+"number] cause thats the enchantment level, and its pretty important and could you add so it says &a&lER at the end of the rename name and the name shouldnt be able to become too long :l 1 more thing, could you do so that the color for the name is different depending on what type of weapon/ armor you have Leather: &f Chainmail: &a Iron: &b Diamond: &d Gold: &e this would be great its alot i know >.< and if you are making the lore it should just be 1 line size when player use it
traipop How long would too long be? Ok, should this plugin only be limited to armour/Weapons? because it is not atm. What plugin are you using for those items, so i can test with it.
