CratesPlus incompatable with WorldGuard

So I have been using the CratesPlus plugin and it has not been working whenever it has been in a worldguard region for default group. Is there anyway to fix this? If not is there anyone who can make me a plugin that would not allow creeper spawning in an area so the crate room won't get griefed.
