BukkitDev IRC Server?

The channel is #bukkitdev right?

What is the server? irc.bukkit.org or what? I can't find it anywhere.

It's BukkitDev-specific, though.

 

That channel is for Bukkit Development. The closes thing to Bukkit Dev the mod repository is #curseforge on irc.freenode.net which is the father project of dev.bukkit.org

Nope, its for BukkitDevelopment.

 

Curse has very little to do with our day to day operations on dev.bukkit.org, so sending people to Curse for any issue, with the exception of a Curse account, is not likely to get them much help.

What channel are you looking for? A place to discuss developing for Bukkit/CraftBukkit - including plugins (#bukkitdev)? A channel to talk about Bukkit (#bukkit)? A channel to find help with Bukkit/CraftBukkit (#bukkithelp)? If you are looking for a channel to ask the dev.bukkit.org staff about when your project will be approved then #bukkitdev is the closest you'll come to that, however, if there is any question you'll likely receive a dev.bukkit.org PM stating the concern. Otherwise, your project or file will be approved as soon as humanly possible.

 

Solved issue. I was looking for the channel to get live help with plugin development. #bukkitdev on esper has been great for this purpose and much more.
