[Bug] Item destroy after drop

Hum hi.

I'm using the last version of bukkit (version 1.6.4) and my friend discovered the bug that whenever we drop a item and pickup back, it get detroy in contact of block. My friend find this frustrating cause he lost his diamonds tool. I confirm its not due of a plugin: I remove all my plugin for the cause but still. Any help will be apreciated.

I also update to 1.4.6 by accident, but i dont think its the reason

 

that is the exact reason. it's a known bug with 1.6
downgrade to 1.5 until Notch fixes his pile of bugs

I have the same bug... and run the server with the offiicial server (downloaded of minecraft.net) and this error is solved. I think that this bug is produced for bukkit.

 

This was a bug with vanilla 1.6.4 server that was fixed with the 1.6.5 server.
