Inactive [ADMN/WEB] ForumBridge v1.4 [1.2.4]

So I've got it pretty much all done... the only thing I have to do is test it

Im trying to find a way to work with GroupManager, PermsBukkit and bPerms that doesnt require using the dispatchCommand so that I can check if a player is in a group so that everyone isnt spammed with "user is now in group x".

PermissionsEx already has this so its silent and nice... but tryin to work out the other 3. Once I've got that sussed I will post the source to Chiller for release.

 

Quick update, I am thinking about adding a couple more features...

- Do not allow players onto server until they register (kicks with a Go Register At URL)
- Manditory Profile Fields complete to allow play
- Integration with iConomy to give $ to players for posts/rep

Never used this before but looks like something that could potentially benefit my server. I was looking through config but I'm slightly confused regarding the "groups" section of said file; is this my groups that are in my permissions plugin or the groups in XenForo?

Its a map of the group number in your Forum software to the group name in your permissions plugin.

Basicly if in your Forum Software administrators are set to group 4, then in your config.yml put 4 : admin (providing admin is the permissions group name in your bukkit server for admins).

Ah I see. Do I have to list every group here because some of my forum groups don't need to be on the server itself.

Ok, just been doing some testing with Ablac and all seems to work well with Xenforo, we've ironed out a few bugs that existed and worked out how to customise xenforo's template system to display the values properly. Just got one last chunk of code to add as Xenforo doesnt create empty custom fields.

Right, its ready to go!

Waiting to hear back from Chiller, but I've also added the following extra options...

- Kick Unregistered on Connect
- Requires Minimum Forum Post Count to be able to be assigned to something other than default group
- Requires Profile Avatar to be able to be assigned to something other than default group
- Stubbed in some code for Wallet tracking to be used with another update i have in mind that credits users for forum activity.

Do the usergroups on the forum have to match the names of the perms groups? I've got only 4 forum groups, but I have 5 perms groups (one for guest that isn't included on my forums)

That plugin says it's "Inactive/No Longer being Supported" (aka, it probably won't work in a few weeks/whenever the next RB is out, even though I mostly use the beta builds)

Ugh, none of these forum bridge/sync plugins work anymore.

Apparently, you can't, and the plugin this guy keeps referring everyone to isn't even supported anymore (even though the current version works with this RB, it'll be outdated soon).
