TNTWatcher - The ultimate in TNT protection, removal, and notification. Version 1.0 This is my first plugin and i have spent a lot of extra time making sure that i make a good first impression on the community. Features: TNTWatcher blocks placement, destroyal and explosion of tnt. It also tells admins of the name of the player and position of the player at time the player tryed to place, destroy, or blow up a tnt block. I also integrated permissionsbukkit support to make it so Admins can still place destroy and blow up tnt blocks. If permissions is not detected then the plugin will default to op. Permissions: tntwatcher.allowtnt - allows the player to place and remove tnt. tntwatcher.notify - players with this node will be notified with the player name and position when a player illegally places or removes tnt. download TNTWatcher Changelog: Version 1.0 Plugin name changed to TNTWatcher. Plugin released to public. Version 0.7 Added Permissions nodes for notifications. Version 0.6 Added player player position to notifications. Version 0.5 Added notifications on place, remove, and destroy. Version 0.4 Added PermissionsBukkit Support to place, remove, and destroy. Version 0.3 Blocked explosion of tnt. Version 0.2 Blocked removal of tnt. Version 0.1 blocked placement of tnt.
@ryanertel I am using #1240 Bukkit. And users with tntwatcher.allowtnt: true can place TNT but can't blow it up. It just doesn't do any terrain damage :S Besides this plugin I am also running PermissionsBukkit-1.2.jar and SuperpermsBridge-1.2,
Not to be the downer, but, this exact plugin and it's functionality can be copied from watching a series of videos on Youtube. Just saying. That's exactly why I put this into a nice fashion. Btw, Plugin Submissions are fading. Use BukkitDev instead.
There are already 10 plugins which do the same... Why is everyone just rewirting plugins? Seriously... xx BitchBoy

My first plugin was a complete /home system. Did i ever release it? NO simply because there are already 20 plugins which do that. Only code something if it isnt here already... Else USELESS.
Wait... I've been working on basically this plugin as well.... 0_0 Also, i know that it's really tempting to, frankly, boast about what someone's done with their first plugin. But try not to get inflammatory here. Just spread the word that this type of plugin has already been done. @ ryanertel words words words EDIT: Nevermind Just don't worry about it ;D (i've edited this way too many times...)
... STEPS: 1. Download PermissionsEx 2. Download this plugin. 3. Download CraftBukkit for Minecraft 1.0.0 (Build #1597) 4. Make a folder for CraftBukkit so all files will generate inside the folder, and not in random places. 5. Rename the SNAPSHOT file from whatever it is to craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT 6. Double-click the SNAPSHOT file. A ton of files should be generated, ranging from a folder named "plugins" to a PROPERTIES file called "server". This is called running the CraftBukkit server. 7. End the process by going into Windows Task Manager (hold ctrl + alt and press del). 8. Put your PermissionsEx file into the "plugins" folder. 9. Run CraftBukkit again. End it after the server boots up. 10. Go into your plugins folder. A new folder named "PermissionsEx" should be generated. Get inside of the permissions.yml file using a file editor (Notepad++, Notepad, etc.). 11. Add the permissions nodes for this plugin into the groups that you want to have the permission(s). 12. Boot up your server. 13. DONE. Derp.
