Like you described no, too much overhead on recording how many times its been used. But costing items/iConomy cash on each scan is much more doable.
You can change what item it uses, change the scanItem to the itemid of what you want to use.
This version fixed the constructer. Will be doing an update soon to update to permissions 2.5.1 and iConomy 4.1
Heh that shouldn't be there :oops: and removed now. It was a half finished plugin that would disable beds.

Thanks for this, it was driving me bonkers trying to get 2.1 working with my plugin.
I was referring to permissions 2.1, but Acru has found a fix.
Both the old and new way of connecting to permissions for your plugin result in Permissions.Security is null. Some parting gift he left us.
