Cool! I'm not really privy to disclose my age, but I'm quite young. I've been self taught for (I think) about 4 years now, and I feel your pain (referring to the posts on JGameGUI).
I've been looking at colleges and going, "I'm not going to actually learn anything until the 3rd year. Why...?"
I hope I can test out of some college Comp Sci classes :\
I'm surprised there aren't more people from our generation that are into computer programming. It's so interesting!
On a side note, any tips on creating GUI menus for Bukkit plugins? I've done then multiple times before but they're never pretty in the code. I ask because I noticed your Punishment GUI plugin, and it looks like it does it decently well.
You can always check the source on github, but for the most part I use this utility I made a couple of months ago and make the fine changes I need to the output.
Granted, it hasn't gotten a lot of use, so I haven't had the desire to get all the kinks out of it. Plus, a lot of things are missing from the material list.
The only thing I have to say about that is it's possible for another plugin or a player to make an inventory with the same name as yours, which confuses it. I have yet to figure out a better way to compare inventories though, except for adding a unique series of color codes to the start of the name like "&a&d&f&5&3"
Huh, interesting.
Oh yeah... I just looked at the src and it has a static final instance of the MenuListener class, meaning that it'll only work for one plugin :\
