I don't think there is a video for 3.0.6 yet but the videos for 2.x should help out. I would personally take the sample files from the zip and just follow the directions in there. Make yourself an Admin and get more comfortable with the plugin. After playing for a while, you will find it isn't all that bad.

If and when things stop working, just post on the forums and include your files along with what isn't working and someone will be able to help.

so on the folder that says RENAME-ME i name it the world name like the .yml in the previous version?

Yep, if you are going with the default world name of world, you should see a users.yml and groups.yml in a directory called plugins\permissions\world.

i was testing it as the admin and it kept saying
"[Permissions] You lack the necessary permissions to perform this action." i put in "/pr -reload world" and "/pr -reload' and it came up with that. any ideas?

You don't actually need permissions to either of those commands but I would guess you weren't actually in the Admins group for some reason. Post your permissions files and I can take a look at them.

Only Midokite will be able to use /pr. The others are assigned to Default.

You should probably go with one of the omni-plugins like Essentials, Generals or CommandBook. If you choose to try Essentials, make sure you don't get GroupManager or GroupBridge as those will cause you a lot of problems.
