I'm going to open a ticket with them and ask, but if it's true, then hmm... I doubt I'd manage to use 1TB of bandwidth, the estimate for this month is 125GB...
It would be a pain in the butt to move, so maybe after the Hunger Games project is completed. However, 1gbps + faster CPU + faster drive + SSD options + cheaper vs 100mbps + 8 cores but slower + slower drive + no SSD options is a hard choice.
Yeah, they may be able to, you just have to leave that in the comments. There was no option for Debian, so I told them in the comments what to install. I was very, very picky with my partitioning and they did it exactly as I told them to.
All I did, was have 4 main partitions, one for /, swap, boot and one for var?
Forgot exactly what I had done, but I hate LVM, so I had them all be primary partitions. Honestly though, any setup works, but I am just picky as this is what I use on all my boxes, as it works and is easy to recover from hard drive failures.
I didn't' have them touch the SSD. I mounted that myself, as /ssd later. My startup script handles all the symlinks and make sure the worlds are symlinked from the disk to the SSD.
