Hey can u make me a plugin so people can only chat to people from a block radius of 50. Ops are able to chat without a radius set and everyone can see. Also ops can see everyones chat they send
why not a plugin that distorts the chat more and more with a greater block distance inbetween the players. Ex. Player 1 and player 2 are 15 blocks from eachother. Player 1 types "hello" and player 2 sees "hello" Player 1 and player 2 are now 40 blocks from eachother. Player 1 types "how are you" and player 2 then sees distorted chat due to there distance "huw ar yu" Or if you dont like that make a way for players to tell how close the person talking to them is by color coding there words Ex. 1-5 blocks between players chat is Light Green 6-11 blocks between players chat is Dark Green 12-17 blocks between players chat is Yellow and so on until the players can just no longer read the others chat block amounts should be configurable to the server owners liking. but just for example i threw in some numbers and colors.
Well I don't know of a plugin that does it already I was just trying to broaden your idea a bit, it was too vague and so I threw in my opinion. Just helpin' out
Try mChannel. If you install that plugin, note that it requires mChat. Also, check out HeroChat, but I don't believe that it's updated yet. These plugins have lots of cool features besides local chatting, too. Note that I've never used these plugins, this is just from a quick search on the plugins list (try that next time before posting a request, please).
