Server Crashing and Overloading #439

For some reason my friends and I will be playing then all of a sudden the server kicks up to 100% cpu usage and the server becomes unresponsive and most of the time needs a cold reboot. Not just a reboot of minecraft, this has been happening ever since 1.3 update.

 

do you have a very large map?

has it finished updating?

what plugins are you running?

do you get any errors on the server before it dies?

 

I have a map that is around 40MB, It has finished updating, I am running BombBeGone, Permissions, TelePlus 1.5.5 iirc

No the server does not give any errors. Right now my CPU usage is 100% and its at its 1.2GB for memory (I have 4GB Total)

 

Have you tried running it without permissions?
I have permissions as well, and am experiencing the same problem.

 

I downloaded an updated Permissions and WorldEdit and WorldGuard and TelePlus 1.5.5 and its working. kit tools stopped working but I think that's a lost cause. Here is my startup with working plugins at the moment.
