    no1 can connect and the survers down i need help :(
    i woke up today and this happend while surver was running i updated to build 440 but still not working no1 can connect plz help !!

    This shudnt have ur ip there it should say *:25565

    Go to server properties file and make the Server-ip=
    Dont put in your ip or anything leave it blank

    essensails is very reliable and i think its better than the random ones that did the job before
    only essensail spawn was having issues this week and thats the first problem in a while i just updated essspawn today but cant see if it fixed problems cus i cant connect :(

    Actaully read all the posts here essentials is not VERY reliable but its ok as long as you dont have world edit/guard or anything with it

    it looks like your surver is a local only surver while mine is a anyone on the internet can join mine along with my friends that are on differnt routers in thier homes so leaving ip blank does not make sense.
    192.168.2.103:25565 (local ip) = 24.17.218.125 (internet ip) = people not on my router can connect = friends can join and other random players :p. im not sure but 192.168.2.103:25565 works for me not blank.

    What do u mean by leaving it blank Im letting ppl not on my net world wide join
    Maybe something on ur router is diff
    But it works for me
    Leaving ip blank does make things work unless your net has something differeent
    Most vids on utube say leave it blank most server admin do as well I own a working server as well.

    that confuses me :eek: ? you mean your surver lets people that are not locally connecting to your router connect to your surver? thats what mine does.

    TOO MUCH MISINFORMATION IN THIS THREAD:

    OP has multiple issues:

    1. you appear to have bad chunks.. thus the SEVERE errors.. try a fresh world to confirm
    2. putting an IP address in the properties file does not control who gets access to your server.. it is only useful if you have an advanced setup with multiple network cards and want to make the server only talk to one of them.. in general, putting something in there == FAIL
    3. if minecraft.net is down, users will not be able to connect.. not your server's problem

    i cant connect to my surver at all

    everytime it says lost conenction

    i tried a fresh world and it worked
    and then i tried a backup that was really old and same error :(
    even tho the promblem apperaed today

    nvm i just loaded my whole backup ( i copy and pastle my whoel usvre folder once and a while
    and no currpt but if i go to build 440 says somthign is currpt :(
