    Multiverse 2 - World Creation/Management/Teleportation & More​

    Description
    Multiverse 2 is a ground up rewrite of the popular Multiverse plugin for CraftBukkit. There are many new features, the biggest one being the much better usability and cleaner code! MV2 has been in the works for over 2 months and given the size of it, the developers are confident that you'll find a small bug or two. Please come into our IRC channel and discuss politely with us and we'll get it resolved quick-fastly!

    Looking for the old version that runs on CraftBukkit 1000? We don't have it anymore :( Here's an archive of the old help post. If you're a new user, we REALLY recommend using Multiverse 2..

    People can't log into my 1060 Bukkit Server!:
    Are you using spout? If so, you need to upgrade it to a dev version or disable it until those guys release a 1060 compatible version.

    How do I know if I'm running CB XXXX or higher?:
    Type /version. The number here is your CB version:
    This server is running Craftbukkit version git-Bukkit-0.0.0-980-g4ed23b1-b1060jnks (MC: 1.7.3)
    Please check that this version is the same as one of those in the title of the post.

    I'm not sure what you mean by how I'm starting it. Not sure exactly about RAM, I'll check.

    To me it seems like the problem is that it's making 3 levels when I only need 1. Is this norma/can it be stopped?

    Actually, After regenerating the nether using /mvtp world_nether kept placing everyone on top of bedrock, but I fixed this issue by going into the nether and doing /mv set spawn.

    and works...Our mineworld was reset and placed people in the middle of the ocean, so I created a somewhat spawn point using WorldEdit and reset spawn on a flat land.

  5. This issue should be fixed natively this weekend. Bukkit added a new event :D

    I should note that we've begun testing with the RB and will release an AB sometime soon. We're shooting for this weekend, but I may not be around :(

    Because that's not the standardized permission system? PermissionsBukkit seems to work fine.. I don't get why the plugin community can't all agree on a darn standard.. And keeps making competing systems like that, splitting the plugin base up between what works with what, or bloating plugins to support each one, at the same time.. so sad..:'(

    In your case, might be a bug tho.. I had assumed, for the most part, these systems were compatible.. Did you use PEX's superpermbridge equivalent?

  12. Hi people, sorry if somebody already answered this question, but how can i allow skylands creation with mv2 ? and btw, when i try to /mv import my world, it tells me that there is an internal error, since i installed essentials, but uninstalling it doesn't change anything :/ help ?
     
  13. No one knows. I've heard a rumor that notch will be adding an 'aether like world' sometime in the future, but that was on twitter or something, and he's changed his mind a lot before, see lanterns.

    @Multiverse or someone help me! Whenever I try /mv create Skyworld Skylands it doesnt work! I have tried all caps, no caps, and all type of stuff. Any help?

    am using PEX and need different permissions per world (no god in pvp world)

    Am sure someone must have done this but am unable to get PEX to apply per world perms

    Is there a better perm system that I could easily transfer over to ?

    Agrrr... I have latest Essentials - 2.7 and after update from 2.6 to 2.7 I have [worldname] prefix on my chat. When I editing MultiVerse config file and changing worldnameprefix: to false and enforcegamemodes: to false it doesn't works. I did reset of server, reloads etc. and it's still not working.

    I have latest build of CraftBukkit for 1.0.1

    I have a little problem and I need help =(
    I used this mod to link my brother's server, mine and our Creative one to limit resource usage and to add a bit of variety. Everything works fine, I linked the worlds very well, added permissions, created portals... One problem.

    It doesn't seem to save well. If I turn off my server, the portals don't work anymore when I turn it back on. The wand doesn't seem to work anymore too and I can't give myself a new one so I have to delete the Multiverse-portal server and configure everything again and again. Is there a common cause for that problem ?

    This is due to bukkit. If you have capitalized world names just put them lower case in the permission node.

    Eg: multiverse.access.Survival -> Survival World
    turns to
    multiverse.access.survival

    This fixed it for me and will fix it, blame bukkit they changed something in the latest build :/

    VERY ANOYYING PROBLEM:
    Somtimes my players are able to go to different worlds and somtimes there not? Usually they can go to different worlds but about twice a day they try to go and it says "You do nto have permission to go there" Then they log off than on multiple times till they work. Any ideas?

    Another annoying problem is the monsters and animals. In all worlds they don't move and can't be hurt. I //butchered them, but not all and theys tarted working again, however some are still there doing nothing and can't be harmed.

    That really fucks shit up. Horrible. Just horrible.

    Everytime someone rejoins, they are spawning at spawn. Every single time.

    I'm running latest dev of nether-portals and multiverse-core.
    Anyway to fix?

    and i have other level.dat files that multiverse doesnt want to import
    and i was wondering if i could get them to work

    For .schematics, you should try Worldedit

    Multiverse import worlds from Full worlds folders like "World" not from the level.dat file.


    Same for me. Just with the dev build. With the AB, no problems, exept the non support of The_end worlds.
