Does it matter how many worlds are online?

    Hello there

    Sorry for my english.

    on my server play 10 Player now my question how many worlds can i load?
    i have now 4 worlds and i have set a border from 500
    or is important how many player are online ?

    Yes and no.

    Performance and memory usage is quite largely affected by how spread out your users are.
    If they're spread out, they keep more chunks active, thus use more memory, cpu and io.
    Using multiple worlds makes it easier for users to spread out significantly, 2 users in different worlds will never share chunks, thus be a larger burden on the server.

    So number of players matters, but how spread out they are matters even more.
    Multiple worlds make players spread out more.

    Good job on setting a world border though. This at least keeps player within certain areas and prevent them from spawning too many new chunks.
    (the latter is also something that causes lag for a brief moment)
