Yes, before you ask... I have port forwarded 25565! Now, players still get the error Connection refused connect.. that only happens when 1. The server is down (which its not) and 2. When the ports are forwarded. Now, I know what your thinking, I must have done it wrong.... NOPE. Actually players are able to connect fine when I use the normal software from minecraft.net, its only when I am start the bukkit server up, does it not work. It would be nice for someone to help me? If anyone else knows a fix, it would be GREATLY appreciated!

    Anyone? Anyone at all?

@mrjoeman1200 I may get too much enjoyment from saying this but... YES, you did it wrong.

You created a firewall exception for the minecraft_server.exe, but did NOT forward port 25565. The difference is, that your OS is looking for minecraft_server.exe and allowing that through - but not specifically looking for port 25565. Hence, any other software you use that wants to use port 25565 (aka, CraftBukkit) will not be able to use that port, because your OS doesn't have an exception for the port - only an exception from a similar, yet different program.

Short answer, port forward 25565 at your OS level and you'll be good to go.

The thing is, I have done that. And in previous versions of craftbukkit, players were able to connect (ie 1185), but now in 1240 that cant...

I am thinking that your computer may not be port forwarded correctly... anymore. Sometimes when you leave your home network and connect to it again it may re-assign your computer a local IP usually something like 192.168.1.106 or something. This usually happens to me with my laptop. I also have an iPod touch so lets say I were to leave my house with the both of these devices. I would walk in the door with my laptop powered off and my iPod powered on. The iPod is most likely going to take the old IP of my laptop and then my laptop would be bumped up the to the IP address of 192.168.1.107 or 192.168.1.108 or something.
