It's hard to help unless you give us your permissions file the way you formatted it, the way you have it there is no formatting for us to see.

Also, what permission system do you use? And what exactly isn't working.

That looks like it's directly from the post above again mate. Open your 'Permissions.yml' and copy and paste it from there. Thanks :>

 

What you need to fix is the permission nodes. If these are not correct in your permission file then permissions won't work at all. There permission nodes are the things you place under permissions:. They should be written - '<perm node>'

They all must have single quotes around them. Look in your logs and you will probably see that permissions plugin isn't working.

 

snipes I'm not to good with this stuff tbh... but most of my permissions are working i believe well i think they are..could u fix it if i give u my code file...i would greatly appreciate it.

Which permissions plugin are you using?
The only real thing I can tell is wrong is on some of the 'inheritance:' lines you have other entries. Such as;

Edit: Although I don't think it's causing a problem, you have some nodes repeated.
For example, 'iConomy.payment' is repeated 4 times in the 'Trusted' rank.

That's the multiplay one right..? Yuk, I bet your paying over the odds for a server as well.
Give me a couple of minutes and i'll knock a clean one up for you.
It also seems you repeat your nodes over various ranks. There is no need to do this as you are inheriting it as well.

 

i got rid of inheritance now and it still fails..but i really need all those permissions so if u could keep them tynx.

 

What I've done; I've removed all of the repeated nodes and structured your inheritance out slightly better than it was. I suggest before you blindly copy and paste it in that you take a moment to look at it aside your old one to see what is different.
In case I've cocked this up completely (not used Multiplays Perms for a couple of months) I suggest you make a copy of your current one at least. Sorry if I've managed to delete any nodes that were there before. I'll keep checking back in case there is any problems :>

Does it give you a version number for Essentials?
What I will say is... Multiplay aren't lightning fast on updating plugins so I suggest you check their installed version to [This] and if they are different you should contact them and ask them to update it.

 

herm, its essential v2.4.2

 

Latest is 2.5.7 and 2.5.0 introduced 1060 support. That may be your problem, you'll have to chase Multiplay and ask them to update it.
