I always had this problem after a new bukkit version and if my Permission plugin wasn't updated.
After the author updated his permission plugin i would update it so on my server and it would then be fixed.
I got CB 1060 with PermissionBukkit and SuperPermsbridge all latest except they aren't updated for the latest CB yet, so now i'm having this issue again...
+ i'm running my server over a dedicated, so when this happens the dedicated crashes/loses connection also...
Which forces me to rollback to the previous bukkit version when i used PermissionEX which worked at that time.

This is frustrating when this happens on every bukkit update.
I guess it would be handy if the devs would release their updates to the permission devs first so they can update them and afterwards release to the public.

Java7, CentOS 5.6, 6GB of RAM dedicated to the java process, 16GB total. I run MySQL locally, along with a web server. i7 2600 @ 3.4GHz, runs as clean as a whistle. On an old dedi with just 8GB of RAM, CentOS 5.6, 4GB to java and also a web server and MySQL hosted locally, with an AMD 955 @ 3.2GHz, could still run 50+ people with no issues at all.

Personally, now this is just my own personal opinion and can't be backed up by much, I think Windows is to blame. It's just not a server OS, at all. Especially Windows 7.

Get some Linux based OS Son.

I don't think too many people will hate you for saying Win7 isn't a server OS...seeing as Server 08 was created for a reason :D. Also, when the only thing you want to run is a minecraft server, I personally think linux is completely the way to go. It won't have as many unneeded features that Windows will have which should allow you to dedicate more system resources to Minecraft.
