    Hey guise.

I've recently set up my server, using plugins and a setup I created for a friend's server.
All plugins are tested on my computer, and work without downtime on said friend's 24/7 server.

However, I am having trouble with external users as I try to get my server up and running 24/7.

External users very rarely are able to log in, more than half the time getting "connection refused".
I can log in fine, using the external IP although I am still connected in the local network.
It appears as though external users can log in without problems whilst I am logged in also, however I can't explain or understand why that would be.

The server also seems to hang after a time of being online. This is between 1-3hours online. Users just cannot connect, even myself and any users online get continuous "read time out" kicks.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. I have port-forwarded my IPv4 address to 25565, which I can only assume is correct, and am wired directly into the router. All firewalls are off, and I am using Windows 7 Ultimate.

I am baffled and I hope you can help.

Yes. Through my IPv4 address, which I can only assume is correct because previous to that no one could connect at all.

    Damnit! It's still malfunctioning.

I'm running Essentials, WorldEdit and Worldguard as the major plugins. Others are like HeroicDeath and AutoMessage.

I'm running it on an x64 machine with x64 Java. It's only letting in about 40% of people trying to connect.
Those who can connect are getting no lag, and the random kicks appear to have stopped.

People who cannot connect get "connection refused" error.

I was running x86 Java on the x64 machine (%program files(x86)% in start.bat) and have changed it to run off Java x64 (removed "(x86)") will this help/ does this affect anything?

    Please, any help.
