I have a VPS (Virtual Private Server) from Alienlayer and lately, the Minecraft server has been crashing. However, the main server hasn't been so I don't know if it is a problem with the actual VPS. The OS it runs on is CentOS 5 64-bit. It also has 2 gbs of RAM. The error I get with the crashes is Code: 2011-07-08 00:00:55 [INFO] Connection reset 2011-07-08 00:02:23 [INFO] Read timed out Anyone know what is happening?
From what I've been reading it's piston related.. I'm having the same problem and think that a couple of my users are spoiting the piston bug.
Memory leak problem with 1.7. Check my other threads (and others' threads as well). No devs will respond. Server process just consumes more and more ram until it crashes. My server was stable for months. 1.72 upgrade came and now we cant keep it up for longer than about an hour.
