Inactive [MISC] ChairCraft v1.2.7 - Seats in Minecraft [1.1-R4]

Due to a bug in Minecraft, you will only see yourself sitting as normal. Others will see you under the chair.​

Please do not report this, it is a known bug. It cannot be fixed until a bug in Minecraft, introduced in 1.6, gets fixed.​

ChairCraft makes it possible to make chairs in Minecraft!
Permission-node: 'chaircraft.sit'
You need to sneak and right click to sit!
It is configureable to check for signs at the sides, and the max width of a chair (or sofa).
A chair can be a stone or wood stair or a slab (any type):

Healing while sitting on chairs has inexplicably stopped working. It was working, I updated to latest chaircraft jar and then it just stopped. I don't know why. Is it working for anyone else? I do have chaircraft.sit in my permissions nodes. I have checked the config file and healing is set to true.

 

When people sit in chairs only their heads stick out and when they try to exit they get stuck underground and die.

Okay, so one of my people decided to make an elevated bar stool... using a Fence with a Wood Half Step on top with 3 signs around it... he right clicked and sat down then when he right clicked to stand back up it kicked him off the server with "NOPE!" as the explanation and crashed the server forcing me to close it and restart it.

Please can you add an option to disable slabs ? because it's hard to make build with slabs if your plugin is running ^^

i have same bug with healing. it doesn't heal me (admin, godmode off, 7 hearts) and my players only sometimes half heart (they have permission to seat). my config:

i have same bug. when my players sit on a chair, i can only see their head directly above the seat. the body is hidden into the ground of chair/floor.

3. and leaving a chair by rightlick is also buggy, me is working (admin), but my players are falling through floor to the ground underneath (even if floor is 1 or 2 blocks thick).

4. can please someone explain me how this config value exactly work? cause when i change my holding item to sign, i doesn't leave the chair.

could you make this plugin compatible to CraftBukkitUpToDate (http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/5026)? that would be VERY nice, because your plugin is AWESOME and a autoupdater for it would be nice, becuz its not easy to keep the overview over 25+ plugins

 

Does it work for you? I just appear inside the chair...

 

i am using chaircraft 1.2.3 and its working

 

He sees himself sitting normally while other players see him inside the chair, everyone is experiencing that issue.

 

Ah okay yes same for me, it looks normal for me but not others, I will wait for it to work for others

 

Did 1.7 fix the arrow bug ?

im new 2 the game and happened 2 stumble uppon the post. how do you install this mod?

 

can you maybe make it so the arrow doesn't make a sound.Also maybe make the arrow not be visable

 

This is a server side plugin that is run by CraftBukkit, a mod to the server. If you are running a server then you use this. This is not for the client.

Making it invisible could be possible by sending a certain packet to the clients but it can have strange results.
@vildaberper I believe that the packet was PacketXDestroyEntity or something like that (X is the number).

Not possible, you ride the arrow.

Yep, it would eject the player for the client, but not for everyone else.

But theoretically the player's position would not change because it's constantly updated by the the server, or is it? If not you could maybe send the position to the player, or just let him see himself that way.

 

I love this mod! But my cousin is annoyed by the fact you get sucked into the chair from other players perspective. Please try to fix it. Thx.

 

or get rid of the slabs because players will sit down on the road for example or from my example i died when i was making a path of slabs for my park because i couldant breathe under the soil

 

How does it run on 1.7? Do you still fall into 2 blocks under you and suffocate?

It should be, but its not when that happens.

You wont suffocate, but the other players will see you under the chair.
The bug didt get fixed in MC 1.7. "/
