Okay, so lag is annoying right? most of it is the blocks not breaking, or lag backs, or stuff. I also know there are mods that affect the tps timer, like to slow down time. I am not expecting any of this on a server to adjust player movement, but rather have it so that it thinks the rapid player movement is normal. if the server's performing at 10 tps(half normal), it tries to run at 40 tps(doubled normal) for a second and the 2*1/2 equates to 1, making it feel to the players more like 20 tps(normal). the algorithm would just be 400/tps, then plug it in to the tickrate changer thing. Would this work like i think it will? would it even be possible to manipulate the tickrate like this? what type of performance impacts would this create?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but setting the TPS of a server isn't possible. Regulating it is. Use ClearLag (but please for the love of God configure it correctly), don't use Essentials if possible (the normal Minecraft commands are fine), get good server specs (2 GB is not enough for a public server with 10+ people), etc.
