I want to make a server which has flying ships (I'm sure some of you have been on these sort of servers)... a lot seem to allow ridiculously big ships up to 5k+ blocks. For my server I would only allow for ships no bigger than 80-100 blocks (may expand to 300 if it were possible). So I have a local host run server where I'm fiddling around with plugins. It has 1GB dedicated ram (for some reason i can't dedicate more than this... anyways I have an i5 processor (3.4ghz). My graphics card is: Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1060 WF2 6GB GDDR5 and 8GB Ram.
I'd really love to know why my server is lagging with those specs with ships only 30 blocks large and with me being the only person online. I'd love to invest a lot of time into this and start making the spawn etc... but the ships don't seem to want to even function well atm so that's on hold.

This is the only company i could find on trustpilot with good reviews. If anyone else approved of anvilnode let me know! I'm pretty certain trust pilot is a big legit review site.

Did you write this code? It depends on your movement code a lot. There are a lot of really bad ways to mass set blocks.

I would never dedicate only 1 gb of ram, is recommend at least 3 for something like this

No movecraft is a plugin I'm using. And when you say 3GB... for how many people? Lets say 15 are online in peak times... 5 are probably actively using a ship sized 20-100 blocks... 3GB enough?

So I'm taking this is just a survival server with only 1 world, if so three gb should be enough

Yep just one world survival. How many people could the 3GB allow for? I'm guessing it would be based off how many are using movecraft at one time.
