Problem/Bug PEX/Essentials Kits Access Issue

To put it straight, I'm somewhat new to Server Hosting. I recently finished up a lot of stuff for my server. I come on again this morning (16/10/2016) and find out that a bunch of people who are the default rank have access to ALL kits and some are exploiting it. One of the people who are experiencing this is a Friend of mine so has been trying to help me out. I removed access to /kit and removed the default kit, but He can still access /kit and all the OP ranks. I am worried. Does anyone know how to fix this?

EDIT: I fixed it. Basically I changed all kits to default: false except the "default" no rank rank. Then switched the actual default rank back to default:true and restarted the server and did "pex reload" into the console. If anyone else has this problem try these steps!
