Hey, just wondering is a there a plugin yet for Bukkit that tells you who put what block where? Or AKA the "Block Sniffer". I found it really useful on Hmod (Helped get rid of griefers because it would tell you who placed the block and where) and would also love to see it on Bukkit.

If I find the time, I'll make this. It'll be basic though.

I would use that plugin to, makes it way more easier to get the griefer even with no one around to see it and ban him/her.

Now watching this thread, thanks for your interest Right, Will it be able to tell who placed and removed a block in x square? /saycommand place block on empty space = namehere. /saycommand select block = namehere ??

I'm not quite sure I understood you. I planned it to be like this:

    /blxsniff

and then after that it would tell you whoever placed the block you click on until you say the command "/blxsniff" again.

is there a way to see who removed a block in that area? Like..... Well.. hard to explain.. as you select a block, is there a way to PLACE a certian block and see who removed it in that area?

Example: Someone griefs my home, removes a wall from my living room, can i /blxsniff [should /bsniff its easier lol] and place a block to see who was last to remove a block in this square or will this be only for selecting a block to see who built it..?

seeing as griefings main thing is someone DELETING blocks it just seems right to at-least try to add this if it wasn't already planned?

We used LogBlock in hmod and it worked wonder - even from a mysql server hosted elsewhere.
