I have been looking for hours now and I cannot find anybody who says if Brohoster laggs with 128 players if you pay for it. I am thinking of buying a 128 player server from them, I need to know DOES IT LAG WITH 100/128 PLAYERS? If anybody can tell me I would be very greatful.

I host the official server for TheSyndicateProject on youtube (55million views, 200k subs) and I need 100 players with no lag, I need to know if I can set the player limit to 100 players and it not lag. Each time he posts on his twitter or facebook, it is full within seconds (100 players) and I was hoping that Brohoster can handle this with NO LAG. Anybody know if it will?

Im not bovered if it will handle it. I want to know if it will lag. It uses 5gb ram which worries me. This is very important for me and Syndicate. Please don't be funny if you don't actually read the thread properly.

i read it properly and im getting tired of answering you it wont lag as ive said Three times now. if it does lag theres such thing as a week long refund. if you cant get 100 people on in a entire week to check then apparently you dont need the diamond tier in the first place. im a avid user of brohoster and it does NOT lag unless they are working on the servers. the only way you'll lag on this server is if you're in the general area of Asia or Australia.

what really vexes me is you seem to not understand all the plugins that increase the server load. hell i could bring a 200 man server to its knees and make it unplayable for anyone by overloading it with plugins.

Brohoster is very unreliable. currently JWJ * Brohoster CEO* quit working at BroHosting. I believe it was an issue at the company. Anyways, i hosted a server with a max of 20 or so. It would start lagging at like 8 players. the customer service is horrible.if you do open a support ticket your most likely gonna get bitched at. i opened 2 tickets in one day cause the techs kept f*cking up my server. so i demanded my money back.

You obviously don't understand the difference between it being able to handle it and it being able to run it with no lag. Handle it meaning it will not crash or be unplayable and no lag meaning there is no delay on activities by players. Don't have a go at me if im running more than a 20 player server. Its also netherrack tier so get it right :)

i've had the exact opposite experience. i own a lapis tier server and have yet to lag with 60 players (i bumped up the numbers) and customer service has always been happy to help me

yes i understand that perfectly but they work on the servers quite a bit thats why i said it can handle it because sometimes **** goes wrong they could have database problems they could update the server which will lead to a hour or two of lag which i usually experience once a week then it relies on what you install to the server and your location also contribute to if you lag on the server

    Yeh, brohoster is a gimmick.

They oversell to hell and there is no way you are going to fit that many on 2 gigs without lag.

Also they are too cheap to hand you your own IP, so you will get a nonstandard port.

EDIT: Just saw the price.. My 4 gigs E8400 dedicated is cheaper than this!

sir i just would like to say..ive had every single 1 of those from brohoster it is bad...trust me they say 24 players with 12 it will crash..control panel is unstable u cant do vanilla servers and u cannot have certain plugins since you are NOT allowed.Do not go with them!

Have you seen the price on dedi's? £50 set up fee's non-refundable. then atleast £100 p/month for 24gb ram i7 is the best I can find. I read the brohoster is upgrading their netherrack tier too.

The idea that 4GB of memory could support 128 players is laughable, maybe on a 200x200 map.

Ive requested a custom quote for my circumstances, waiting for a reply now. It should be fine if we have around 8gb ram.
