Plugin Help Prefix Color Chat - GroupManager

Hi, I recently got a server and from that I got groupmanager, now I don't want to get pex but I need help. When I try to add a color code for prefix ranks it just makes it default white.


So I would do /mangaddv builder prefix &2[Builder]

But the prefix color would come out as [Builder] But in white. The colors wont work.

Help pls.

 

go into your essentials config, press [Ctrl+f] type in "EssentialsChat"
you should see text with EssentialsChat surounded by #. Scroll down until you see something like this

format: ' &7{DISPLAYNAME}&8&l | &f{MESSAGE}'
#format: '&8&L[{GROUP}&8&L]&r &7{DISPLAYNAME}&8&L|&r {MESSAGE}'

you can just copy mine and paste it over yours, if this doesnt work then idk sorry.

 

That didn't work, bump I need serious help.

 

You try going into your group manager groups (under worlds) and changing the prefix in there and then doing a /manload?

Or, is the whole thing white, or just "Builder"?
