Yeditor (Yedit) v1.2 [ALL] (β)
Description
Yeditor allows you to edit the the permissions file in game. Similar to that of hMods modify commands. At the moment it is fairly limited but i will extend as time persists .

Works on 2.5.1 Permissions! (Default world name).
Note: It changes the format of your config. This is nothing to worry about the permissions will still work.


Features:
Note requires Permissions.
Also add "yeditor.editor" as a permission node for editors.
* /yt(/yedit) add <player> <group> - Adds player to a group.
* /yt del <player> - Removes the player altogether from the permissions.
* /yt modify <player> <group> - Changes a players group.
* <font color="rgb(255, 0, 0)">/yt addC <group|player> <command.node> - Adds a command node to a group or player. Not updated.</font>
* Then once done type /permissions to reload permissions.

Ok so ive downloaded it and put it in the folder just like any other plugin. And when i tried to use a command nothing happened?

 

Can you remove the case-sensitive part of the plugin? Some of my admins write the correct names when they add or modify people and some don't. I'm ending up with a lot of dublicates like

the reload command is actualy standard in permissions, not a feature in this plugin.

also, I have two suggestions: Add/delete group, and list all availble commands(including inpluged commands)

 

It wasn't as of posting.

 

Seems the Permissions plugin has changed quite a bit in the v3.x.x updates. Just wanted to give you a heads up, before folks flood with problems and errors. I'm sticking with Permissions v2.7.4, because nothing was broken with it.

Edit: As always, working great with the latest CB #815.

Yeh, looks like the new Permissions doesn't work with Yeditor.

 

Does this work with the new permissions and bukkit build?

Fix for 818 please

 

I'm currently running CB 860 and it works fine. It does NOT however work with the new updates of Permissions, so if you are going to update, be sure to find another way for your admins to edit Permissions untill this get's updated.

Usefull!

 

Yeditor works fine with CB #928, but Permissions v2.5.1 will no longer reload with /permissions -reload all. The new Permissions has it's own built in commands. I still haven't changed over to it yet, because it seems too buggy.
