Problem/Bug Name Changed To "player.getName()"

So, I just started up my server after being gone for a few months and I get this:

What you see at the beginning is me doing /realname SlickSlender (my ign).
Next, when I type in chat, it shows this...
This didn't happen when I used the realname command from Essentials, but when I started up the server.
No errors in the start up log, and doing /pl shows that none of the plugins are red.

At all, did you edit the config of Essentials for nicknames?

Also, if you didn't then try typing false for this:

1. # Disable this if you have any other plugin, that modifies the displayname of a user.
2. change-displayname: true

It's by Essentials Global, I believe.

 

As a temporary solution, you could try using /nick on yourself.
