Thank you HAX! got this running on Deadmau5's Mau5ville (9000+ players), weather has wreaked havok on our creative builds. Weather is certainly a novel idea for SP but terrible for MP.

thanks again for a great plugin !

Could you add multiworld support? We only want to disable it on one of our worlds.

Very nice, thanks! It would be great if we could just shut off the snow's accumulation...

This plugin sounds like a blessing. I spent months working on a venture compound semi replica, then the weather update came and I have snow on more then half of my venture compound despite it all being on a desert.

  12. Would it be possible to make the plugin be able to turn off ONLY rain, i like the pretty snowflakes :(

I'm guessing but because rain and snow occur simultaneously, probably not?

any sort of timelime on this uber plugin? Me and my friend desperately need an ice melting prevention!

I am working hard to get all the weather related stuff 100% controllable :) including separate snow / rain in different areas of the map.
The release of my Ice and snow no melt mod is purely dependent on my code being accepted into bukkit https://github.com/Bukkit/CraftBukkit/pull/299 the sooner it is pulled the sooner we can all enjoy the plugin

I've been having some odd issues on my server it lead me to this plugin. For some reason this plugin uses 5-10% CPU usage. Much more than any other plugin I use, and I use about 50 plugins. Without this plugin, I'm averaging under 20% right now.

  16. Im not seeing the described cpu usage increase on my server which is using CB798.

I'm holding off on the CB update mainly because there is a MineCraft Update this week and I don't want to waste time updating and fixing plugins just to do it again after CB releases a stable MC update.
I'll take your word for it that CB 798 version doesn't have that much CPU usage.

  18. Download link don't work!

it's apparently stable :p or at least Notch has given up patching it for now, and will work on 1.7

    Or so says him. :)

@HaxtorMoogle Is there any chance in the near by future, NoMoreRain could have the feature of disabling the generation of ice as another means of controlling weather? I am suggesting this because my world's oceans are being consumed by ice that not even McEdit can get rid of it. I am also not the only one as I have found a few more people with the exact same problem on the minecraft forums.

Same problem. My friend's construction, which we were hoping to stop the ice from melting with torches, has now been consumed by ice in all the water-ways and fountains.

out of curiosity, did your new plugin get removed?

...and what were the reasons for refusing to pull your code?

I'm getting the same problem as well

Yea, it did get removed. Might have gotten in trouble with that modified craftbukkit 818 build, I'm not sure.
But I couldn't get the thing to work anyways, kept giving me errors on the console. Fix one error and another surfaces.

the modified bukkit build (819, i think), worked fine, but the plugin - same errors on the console.

the only thing is, I need this plugin...
