    Windows XP SP2 86x
    Java version 1.6.0_24
    git-Bukkit-0.0.0-706-gf53e007-b740jnks

So yeah, after the 1.5_02 update, I updated the server but, everytime I try to launch my server whithout any plugins, my internet crashes.
I'm not really sure whats causing this, I'm rather new with this thing...
    The vanilla server works fine.

@CrazySoap Huh, that's odd. Who's providing your internet and what speeds are you guaranteed? What kind of network setup do you have?

    Network setup? Whats that?
Anyway, it always worked before the update.

@CrazySoap Well, anything that could explain the problem, such as using WiFi or having a terrible router. If it worked before the update, then I'm not exactly sure why it would crash your internet. How is it actually "crashing"? Does your internet connection for everyone in your home cut off, or just on the server?

My router is pretty good actually.
Yeah, the internet just gets cut off. I'm not if the Wi-Fi works tho.

    bump(not sure if its allowed)

You might be having the same issue I'm having, actually. While my internet doesn't completely crash, it slows down severely, and clogs the rest of the network up. I'm not sure specifically what's happening, but it's looking like a build issue, since this doesn't happen with build 733. I'd recommend going back to that build for now, and seeing if that works. If not, I have no idea.

Thats exactly whats happening to me!

Edit: Where can I download build 730?

Same exact thing happens to me. I can log in for about a minute, then I get a server timeout message. I go onto my dedicated server, and it cannot access any websites and i cannot /release or /renew the connection. I have to hard reset it to get it working.

Poor network drivers are likely the cause of all those problems. The reason I say that and not blame Craftbukkit, is because there are a great many people who run it without problems - the only difference is software/hardware of your servers.
What network cards are all of you running? What driver versions of those cards? What OS is your server?

Software firewalls like zonealarm can also cause this, as well as some antivirus software. Look into what other parts of your computer may be causing these errors.

    Alternatively, try a different build - http://ci.bukkit.org/job/dev-CraftBukkit/

Try the latest build - 760. It might work better.

Strangely enough, the server had always worked before. I'll try the new build.

Also, the newer builds are 7x bigger... weird.
