How get damage in hearts?

    Hi everyone, i need a little help, i am working on my plugin and i need get damage that player receive in hearts.
    on EntityDamageEvent has the method:
    e.getDamage();
    but it return the damage send, not damage received
    i need the damage received in hearts on my player(with some armor), to my plugin work
    anyone can help me?
