Improving My Server

Hi guys,

I've been playing on a lot of Minecraft servers lately to see what things I should add onto my own server and to also see how I should go about setting everything up. There a lot of plugins and features I want to include in my server to please forgive me if this is a long post. I'll be posting this on both the Bukkit & Spigot Forums.

Portals
The main thing I have first setup is BungeeCord, which will allow me to have dedicated servers for games like ‘The Walls’, ‘The Survival Games’, ‘Bow Spleef’ etc. With BungeeCord now setup, I want to be able to make portals so that users can connect back and forth without having to type /server. However, the only plugin I could find was 'BPortals' on Spigot which worked but didn't satisfy me as It didn't allow me to have the portal material let alone other portal materials such as water, lava etc. leaving the portals empty. In other words you wouldn't know it's a portal because it just looks like a wall.

Global Teleporting
As well being able to travel between servers using portals, I want to able to teleport globally across every server that will happily work alongside 'Multiverse' and 'Essentials' (I use 'Essentials' quite a lot for TP'ing). Something as simple as typing the server name into /tp command line e.g. /tp server <Hub> <player1> <player2>

Global Chat
On top of all of this I also want to be able to setup global chat across every server so everyone can chat whatever server they may be on, but also have the option to chat inside a specific server only. I’m currently using 'Essentials' to chat which works well as I use different colours for different groups.

Player List
On one specific server there was a really neat feature that showed the number of players online on each server as show here. The server list also shows up automatically as well typing the command /list.

Signs
On a lot of servers I’ve seen a lot of coloured signs which would be useful to me as it would make everything look a lot nicer, but could be used to make the sign look bolder. Relative to this is the ability to walk straight through signs as though they’re gates, and this would be incredibly useful to me, because it would mean I could place signs at eye level or lower without causing obstruction.

BungeeCord Permissions
I dislike the use of op on the server at all so I have always been using 'PermissionsEx' to manage groups and permissions for all the plugins. On my server the Admin is practically the op as all permissions are enabled on them. The problem I have realised is BungeeCord has its own permissions to be able to use in-game commands, but I haven’t got a clue how to assign them to a user group. Is there a way to use them with PermissionsEx as I’m currently doing or is it something completely different?

Games Server
I’m planning to run a few games like ‘tntrun’, ‘Bow Spleef’, ‘The Walls’ and ‘The Survival Games’ but would it be excessive if I had a server for each of these games? I’m hoping to put ‘tntrun’ and ‘Bow Spleef’ together because I will be making the maps from scratch, whereas ‘The Walls’ and ‘The Survival games’ I will be using Hypixel’s official maps.

Broadcast/Announcements
To get messages set around my server’s periodically I used a plugin called ‘SimpleBroadcast’. However, now that I have BungeeCord I think it will make more sense if I had a plugin that could broadcast to all servers at the same time simultaneously.

Cross-server Player Data
Being able to get around the whole of my server will be really good but what would be awesome is being able to link player data such as XP, awards & money etc. across all the BungeeCord servers. For example whilst players play for fun they also gain money at the same time which they can spend in the ‘Chestshop’ supermarket I have built. Hypixel uses coins when I playing ‘Bow Sleef’ and ‘tntrun’, but I rather have money in my case as this is more useful. Does anybody if any of this is possible?

I know there is a lot going on here, but I would like to make my server somewhat similar to the top-end servers, even though my server will be private. If anyone can help with any name any of these plugins or suggest ideas about the server as a whole, it would be much appreciated.
