Factions Help

I see on some servers that in chat it doesn't show ~wilderness ~warzone and more. I was wondering how I can get that to happen on my server. I use essentialschat for Chat and I don't have a factions folder because of MCore. Please Help

 

Just wondering, why would you want this? This is a great feature in telling someone to get ready for pvp or you are safe, or you walked into someones faction land.

There is no way to disable this within the faction plugin unless you have a dev go into the plugin coding and edit it, but of course then you are stuck with having to do this every update, so id suggest have a plugin made that prevents the faction plugin from doing this.

 

What is a plugin for that called though... I can't find one

What about editing the config file for Raiding. I found the file but don't see anything in there about stealing from other territories

 

im not sure what you mean, what specifically do you not want as far as raiding?

you can block tnt from being used and creeper dealing damage with essentials.
or you can simply add no explosion flag to each faction by default which will stop and explosion, but still allow your players to use tnt in the wilderness. if you have Mcmmo, that will work out great because high mining levels benefit from tnt mining.

 

I want it so people can Raid other Faction's chest, furnaces, dispensers, ETC. Not able to use doors, trapdoors, and such but able to blow stuff up with cannons and such. Hardcore Faction PVP

 

ok, look in the faction config for "CONTAINER" near the top of the config. it will show who has access to it.. if you want anyone to use containers in faction land, add in allies, neutral, and enemy.

 

You need Mcore to get faction to work

 

Gold_Squadron Use the Latest Factions DevBuild, it doesn't require mcore anymore and it's much more stable and improved.
