So I type in my computers IP address in the URL so I can port forward again. I then hit enter and every single time for the past month it has come up with "

    The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. "

    Can anyone help me?

EDIT: ok I figured ^ part out, now I am having trouble with the login. About a year ago I changed the password and username for the router, and since then I have forgotten it and lost the piece of paper I wrote it on. How do I change the password again without being logged in?

Puggles Go to Start -> Run -> cmd and type ipconfig /all then look for
    Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : <ip here>
then put that ip in your web browser.

Thanks, it worked! I will be back to this thread if I have any more difficulties in port forwarding it

So now I forgot what I reset the password to. The default doesnt work, and I remember about a year ago I changed it. Since then I lost the paper I wrote it on. How do I change it again without being logged in?

Puggles Only way to reset the password if you forgot it is to use the reset button on the back of the router, if it doesn't have one try unplugging it for 10 minutes or so.

Would this require for all the computers to reconnect to the router or will it do that automatically? It won't interfere with anything; or the router wont cause heck?

Puggles Resetting the router will normally cause it to go back to factory default settings.

So what will that do to all the other computersÉ Will I have to reconnect them all, or redo all the other stuff or whateverÉ

Puggles I doubt you would be doing it all the time, as resetting the router would reset everything, it would reset the wireless network name, wireless key, etc to default
