Solved Mentor needed.

Hello, I wasn't 100% sure where to post this but it does have a little about plugin development. As you probably.guessed from the title I am looking for a mentor and a teacher. I know a little bit of Java (like methods, NOT array lists, need help on that, etc ) and very little of the bucket API. I would like some day to become a official plugin developer, and hoping for a mentor. I would also like kinda a thing where we could in a Skype call and maybe teach me through there. I am not paying any money, sorry.

I know it's a lot to ask for but it's worth just asking.

 

I would suggest trying to make plugins, then getting help here when you need it. Also, this isn't the right place to ask for a "mentor"

 

frogman6102 I'm not sure anybody has that much time to devote to you, but you could just bring your main questions up frequently when you need help. We'll do our best to help answer them for you.

I am asking so I can get help with the bukkit API (Like learning when to use BukkitgetServer() instead of just getServer().).

 

This type of post doesn't really belong anywhere on the forums as far as I know. As I suggested just start coding and anytime you need specific help post it here and we will all be glad to help

 

Programming is learning by doing/failing.
After all you didn't learn walking by someone showing you everything, you learned by continously falling and getting up again.
Of course we are here to help you get up on your feet again.

You can learn by yourself!
You can learn by all your lots of bugs!
You can learn by all the resources on the Bukkit forums!
You can learn by all the youtubers that do lots of work for video tutorials and try to let you understand what they are actually doing!
And If you are have problems that you can't resolve or find your questions on google.com then you can ask it on the Bukkit forums
