I run a Survival server and on my main map i have about 200k chunks. When i start the server my ram usage increases from about 50% to about 95% so it is using about 2000 mb's of ram... I have tried disabling all my plugins (i have 30) but the ram usage only goes down about 10%.
Ram usage increases when the world is loading (Preparing level "world" [01:22:23 INFO]: Preparing start region for level 0) even when the server hasn't fully started and no one is on. I thought It didn't matter how big your world is, only how many players are on and the server's render distance.

    Help would be appreciated
Also i prefer not wiping the map (my players will kill me) :/

    Bump :/

If your saying your maps too big, Then what else can you do but wipe it. Ram usage increases only when players are keeping chunks open, Try installing ClearLagg and doing /lagg unloadchunks to unload some inactive chunks from the memory

That's only 7200x7200 blocks. Not very big at all.

List your plugins. Also, how many worlds do you have? If you're using Multiverse, set keepSpawnInMemory to false for worlds where people aren't frequently going to the spawn point.

Like Bobcat00 said your world is not that big so it might be some plugin that is using all that RAM. What plugins do you have?

I have tried starting the server without any plugins and the same happens, also it happens when the server starts, not when a player joins the server.

What he said ^ I do recommend using ClearLag and saying /lagg unloadchunks if it does turn out to be a chunk issue.
