All of sudden last week, Here are the reasons why my server crash
    • The server randomly crash the first 5 minute it is running and comes with an error, then after 5min-1 hour the server manually restarts.
    • When Players die, the server stops and everyone gets disconnected, but there's no error or anything in the console
I am losing players everyday, Everyone is eager to get back on the server. I forgot to backup this month so that's out of the list. I have updated ALL of my plugins and reset all the players data. Is it a chunk corruption? if so how do i fix? My server host helps are useless and this forum is my last hope. I have months worth of work on the spawn and server's infrastructure so starting the server all over is last on the list. I've tried running pure vanilla and it just crash the first few minutes.

Have you tried starting with a test map to see how it runs? It could be a corrupted map. Not sure though.

Couldn't you add a new map, then set the main world to that new map? Or something similar?

Jeffry, you can change the map name from whatever it is now, to something different.

    1. Shut down the server.
    2. Change the map name in the field that says "world".
    3. Start server.
    4. See if it works and reply back here.

I spawned and the world did not render. I was just in a black void and i could not type or do any commands, nothing. Then a few seconds later the server crashed

  7. Can you please tell me how many plugins you got and how much GB Ram you got? If you got an overload of plugins your server crashes.

  8. I assume you won't get far without showing the logs, at least startup + errors...

I have 2gb ram and have 44 plugins. I am occupying 50% and it never goes over 90%.
http://pastebin.com/cFs93ySp is one of the logs

  10. To be honest I think you should upgrade your ram or remove some plugins because I had a server with around 45 plugins and 3gb ram, my server crashed several times.

I did, there is no error, plus i don't think thats the problem
http://pastebin.com/uRWnQXf5 if you wanna check it out

Its been working for 2 months, and it stopped all of sudden. I dont think the ram is causing the problem

  13. Did you have an increase of players? That can also cause the problem!

or the plugins updated itself and is being buggy!

No, there was actually a decrease in players.

I've spent literally over 50 hours last week looking through my worlds and files trying to fix it. NO LUCK!. I've probably lost more than half of the server players already. Anyone Experienced want to look into my FTP files? To any host servers, May I use your servers for a day and see if its my host that is causing the problem.

If you are running on a PC, open Task Manager and watch RAM and CPU. If they are maxing out for a long time, there's your sign. Don't use plugins that cause console errors when you run the Bukkit reload command. They are broken. Move your plugin jars to a "hold" folder. Start with the most recently added one and keep moving and restarting the server until the server stabilizes. Then check the config of the last. Also suspect the plugin is broken. RAM size is the key to a stable server.

The console errors are because the Essentials config has incorrect yaml syntax. Can't say certainly without seeing the config, but it seems there's a typo misleading the parser about where a section starts/ends. Look in the config file around the line number mentioned by the error and look for extra colons, quote marks, or maybe wrong number of spaces.

Take Multicraft's reading of resource usage with a grain of salt. Even if 2GB might work okay enough for normal server processes and Multicraft's sampling only returns low/medium usage, the server may be getting overloaded during the startup process or right before garbage collection occurs.

You have Core Protect loading and successfully connecting to its database. Check the logs for what kind of activity was happening right before you started having crash issues. Notably, check if someone was using WorldEdit or setting off TNT.

You do have multiple minigame type plugins on your server. If you added one shortly before the crashes started, I would not be surprised if this was actually the source of your problem. Either because of resource usage or general incompatibility between the different minigames.

Hopefully some of the above will actually help you. :)
