I'm having a problem on my server where I can't disable god mode to play in Warzones. So I did some searching to try to understand what was going on. I found that sometimes Essentials and WorldGuard sometimes conflict and screw it up so I used the code that was supposed to fix the problem. Here is what that segment of my essentials config.yml looks like: Code: # Disabled commands will be completelly unavailable on the server. disabled-commands: - nick - god I'm still having problems. I think I may have another plugin conflicting with WorldGuard's /god command but have no idea which one. Here's my list of mods. -Essentials -iChat -War -WorldEdit -WorldGaurd -iConomy -LWC -Falsebook -Magic Carpet -Superpowers -SQLite I believe that is all that is installed. I did however previously have BigBrother and FlyRidgeFly but I'm pretty sure I deleted all the content. Could any of my other plugins be affecting it? Did I write my Essentials code wrong (i.e. are there a certain number of spaces required before the "- god")? If you have some advice please post. Thanks.
i have this problem too all of a sudden one day i found that i couldnt die :/ SUCKS iv been meanign to post this soon so convenient i foudn this thread i tried disablign god but says its not on my plugins are -Essentials (spawn and main jar) - ichat -lwc -magiccarpet -mcbans -permissions -rtriggers -war -worldedit and worldguard i think it has to to do with essentials, world edit, World guard or war. or a combanation of all. this is gettign bad :/ only happening to me the admin i have god mode off!!! and i cant die! i want to die or its no fair to other players in arena......... updated to bucket 684 still cant die ...
i dont use worldguards god mode tho. Fixed it even tho i dont use /egod at all i tryeid it and somhow its was on must have been some defuakt update glich ^.^ try saying /egod EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
try turn off Essentials (instead i have general, wchich automaticaly turn off commands which another plugin have) and superpowers - I don't use them and don't have this problem.
Go into essentials player data files, and find your own file. Either 1: Open it and make sure god mode is set to false or 2: If that dont work or this is easier for you, delete your own data file in that folder, and your problem should be fixed. If its the same problem i had it will be at least
FIXED! I just deleted my worldgaurd.jar (temporarily), restarted my server, typed /god to disable essentials god mode, installed the worldgaurd.jar again and restarted. Works perfectly fine now using the worldgaurd /god and /ungod. thanks for the advice
Since essentials and world guard both have god mode they get a little mixed up and the essentials one stays on. To fix this just go to your Essentials folder and delete the user.yml file for that person. The reason behind it is that Essentials will save your "god mode" and if you delete it it will solve the problem Good luck
