How do you create an info book for your server?

Ive googled this ALLL day. and theres a million complicated ways to do it.
Ive tried doing the /kit color method. but that doesnt create a book file for me to edit.
Ive tried using the Custom Books plugin and that plugin.. is utter garbge. and just spawns empty books in my inventory that i can't edit. Again no files to edit text with on that one.

am i just doing soemthign wrong? It can't be that hard to do this..e very server i join throws books at you when you first join.

id hope im not the first one to think that was a good idea. enough to request it.

it would be nice to have a plugin that copied a book you used Book and Quill on for later use that you could spawn on first join, or spawn in a group, and of course on command for players.
seems like if someone can code something like worldedit, then this wouldnt be that big of a deal. but i dont know. im not a programmer/developer.
