Turn off portal noise

    Its a client mod. Not doable through a Plugin I think.

    Well, the portal sounds are in /resources/newsound/portal/* I'm too lazy to delete the file, run into an old world and see if it fixes it, but that may well do the trick, otherwise a simple mod in MCP could probably be made in minutes once you've found the appropriate class.
