Need help with faction tags!

After the new faction update my old tags don't seem to work:

group-formats:

Just wondering how I'm supposed to set up the format now and if I have to # the first one if I don't # the second format Thank you for your time!

 

ok, considering you are using essentialschat

Get rid of the # because that comments out the group so the server doesnt read the '#' line/code

 

Only one format should be active, add # to the first, remove # from second.
Also paste startup log please.

What is the text editor your use? It seems that the file encoding is wrong, and needs to be utf-8.

 

Never thought of that My server is getting hosted, i guess i could use notepad ++ and then upload the yml to my essentials folder. Thanks and I'll tell you if it works

It won't let me upload yml's
I've tried to zip it then upload so idk
