Solved What is a good amount of ram?

    I have allocated a total of 8 gigs of ram to my mine craft server. Should that be enough to hold 100 people?

    As much as you can afford. 8gb will be fine for 100, but there are other factors, not just ram.

    Not as much as you can afford, just as much as you need. Not having enough ram = crash, having more than you need = waste of money. How much ram you need very much depends on number of plugins/world/type of server, but I expect you're more than fine with 8.

    CPU, download speed. You'll need a 50mbit line at least.
