Looking for information on progress

    We all appreciate the tremendous work being done by the Bukkit team to get the 1.7 version but would appreciate a little more information about the project's progress

    Read the message at the top of the page. It says there is no communicable ETA. Anyway I think it is a good update in itself.

    Just because there's no ETA doesn't mean there's no information. Most open source projects have a (working) git repo or something that people can view commits ie. work being done. It was my understanding that this was opensource? I am not seeing anything open (when it comes to development) about it. This is one of the most open/closed projects I have seen. I don't get it, if you're working so hard on it wouldn't you want people to see the commits, maybe even give pointers to help make things better. I guess I am just used to more community driven projects. I apologize if I don't understand although I have lead more then a few open source projects and never thought I should keep anything project wise secret or away from the community. Community involvement was always a driving force though in my previous endeavours, maybe it's not here.
