    Hey, I don't know if it is yet possibly with CraftBukkit, but my server really needs this to stop PVP. Right now people with tamed wolves can kill other players taking their items and its annoying! Can someone please make this!?!

    In the meantime, Tombstone mod should be able to prevent theft.

    Maybe...wolves dont seem to be calling the EntityTargetEvent D=

    Well i managed a work around checking if wolves are damaging a player, then resetting it. But its messing with wild ones. Still working on it.

    i want it to completly stop wolves from attacking players, but if you could make it so u can turn it on and off for each world that would be great because, on my server you can go through a portal and be brought to a diff world, and i want it so that wolves r always friendly on my main, but on a world where mobs r on they would spawn wild and attack u!

    @Gam3rTr0n69
    Like using Permissions and specifying something like "Plugin.DontAttack" - since Permissions uses per-world permissions?

    im using a plugin called MultiVerse and i dont think the permissions file changes from world to world, because everyone still can use the same commands no matter the world their currently in, i was thinking that if mobs r off then wolfs don't attack, and if their on then they would

    That's weird, I'll look into that. I've made a plugin that disables wolfs attacking people [no matter tamed or not] but it's untested. Theoretically, it should work. I'll probably get a release out tonight for this.

    I haven't had time to work on it, I'm trying to start up a development website - but currently my domain name provider is .. failing. So, here's a [untested-ish, but seemingly working] version.
    http://hailxenu.net/BadWolf.jar

    This is a simple .jar file that disallows Wolves attacking Player objects. Configurations / etc. will be available once I work on it.

    And yes, I've at least put this on my own server, running just fine.

    I have submitted a pull request to bukkit to fix it not firing the entitytargetentity event, so when ever that gets added it is really easy to prevent them from attacking, I already have this kind of thing done with those code changes on a specific instance. In my case each person can have on "friendly" wolf that can't cause or take damage or attack anything.
